Course description

No wells perform efficiently and produce uninterrupted from initial production to abandonment. Being able to rely on safe and efficient well intervention is crucial.

The IWCF/IADC Well Intervention Pressure Control course is designed for operators and supervisors and provides the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively and safely control a well during well intervention operations.

The course includes compulsory training and assessment in Completion Equipment and Completion Operations; with optional modules including Coiled Tubing Operations, Wireline Operations, and Snubbing Operations (at least one of the optional modules must be selected).

The certification program comprises separate levels of tests for office engineers (Level 2), operators (Level 3) and supervisors (Level 4) in well intervention operations.
